Bob vs. HFC (HSBC) Possibly the first claim issued in respect of the new £12 default fee brought in after the OFT ruling on credit cards requiring these charges to be reduced from, typically, £25 to £12. The first month that it was imposed, I promptly issued a county court claim. HSBC (owners of HFC) capitulated within a couple of weeks. I did not accept their confidentiality requirement and, of course, they still paid up. Return to full listing of cases. |
