Lyn vs. Nationwide Claim issued on 26 January for £2627 plus court fee. Nationwide usually pay up pretty quickly and this case was no exception. But instead of admitting that they were paying the money as a result of the claim, they filed a defence form N9B saying that they had already paid it, putting the date of 19 February even though the form says "before the claim was issued".
